Kyle Evatt Announces for Arkansas State Representative District 5

June 30, 2025

I’m excited to officially announce my candidacy for Arkansas State Representative for District 5 as a proud Republican.

As a lifelong resident of the Ozarks, I’ve seen firsthand the strength of our communities — and the challenges we face. From advocating for smaller and more efficient government, to the need for better infrastructure in our rural areas, to protecting our conservative values in the classroom and beyond — it’s clear that Arkansas needs strong, principled leadership now more than ever.

Soon after graduating from College of the Ozarks and building a strong Christian and Patriotic belief system, my wife and I began raising our family here in Boone County. Now with two children, we have become truly invested in this community and working to make it the best that it can be for our daughters. My community engagement includes participating in various groups such as serving as the President of the Harrison Kiwanis Club and serving as the Vice-President on the Board of Directors for the Sanctuary Inc. in Harrison.

Currently I serve as the District 5 Justice of the Peace for Boone County and I wish to translate my experience in this role to serve our local citizens. Serving on the Buildings-Grounds-Road Committee and as Chair of the Solid Waste Committee has made it clear to me that we need a push for better infrastructure not only here in Boone County, but across the state.

I’m running to be a voice for hardworking Arkansans who want less government interference, safer communities, and more opportunities for our kids to thrive right here at home. I will fight for lower taxes, support law enforcement, defend our Second Amendment rights, and ensure parental control in education.

With your support, we can keep Arkansas on the right track. Let’s bring new energy, common sense, and conservative leadership to the Capitol.
